Our stay at Tamala was great. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, from the cleaners and pool attendants, the bar/restaurant staff, reception and spa staff and Victor the General Manager took particularly good care of us. The resort itself was beautiful and definitely lived up to expectations. It was relaxing and there were plenty of sunbeds, as well as direct access onto the beach. The food and drink service (experienced as an all inc. guest) was good - there were plenty of different options every day, including the themed offerings on Wednesday (Beach BBQ), Friday (Fish Fry) and Sunday Brunch, as well as a nice selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The hot oil massages at the onsite spa were so good we went twice during our 2 week stay and overall it was an incredibly relaxing holiday. Would definitely stay here again if returning to The Gambia!

- Very kind staff, helping and taking care of the customers (including if you arrive after midnight when your flight was delayed) ; - Very nice and convenient restaurant/bar with a terrace and direct access to the beach ; - Large swimming pool allowing you to swim/train ; - Large rooms and comfortable bedding ; - Very good food and a large choice of dishes/drinks on the menu ; - Breakfast with a large choice of food and beverages (with the possibility to get a real coffee instead of a filter one) - Very good location (away from Senegambia district with noise, traffic, harassing people or restaurant/bar staff...).

I really liked the view I had, you opened the room door and saw the beach. Aisha, the girl who cleaned our room with a grade 10 girl. Generally all staff,The hotel is rated 10, it's a pity that the owners don't know how to appreciate and exploit them by working too many hours and for too low a salary, considering that they are of another nation and not Africans. Where they come from should know you can work until a person is exhausted.

Loved the layout. Friendly service. I booked my initial reservation online and when I showed up they didn't have anymore rooms available, so I was turned away. I rebooked for a few days later. I enjoyed my stay, but I thought the walls were very dirty for this level of hotel. Everything else was good. Nice menu offerings for both dinner and breakfast.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff in the restaurant and pool are lovely and attentive. The cleaning staff are amazing and did such a great job and really accommodated us when I asked for birthday decorations in the room for my friend. The room and grounds are beautiful and well with the money.
